Whats Up With Us?

So, to me a little less talk & a lot more pictures is better right? Here we have little miss priss walking to the bus stop with her backpack all ready to go:Snow White & the crazy afro:
Sundays are not my best days. Especially before church. The following few pictures are documentation of what my children do to my house while I am trying to get ready for church & maintain a calm demeanor:

Needless to say, this is why my demeanor is not so calm by the time we get out the door...
Pumpkins from our garden!
Waiting for Grandma, Grandpa, & Dustin to arrive!!
Enjoying some time with Dustin, so fun!
Goofballs.
We had a good time
We got to spend a few days in Brekenridge with Nana & Grandpa Copple. We spent time eating, swimming, hiking, just having a grand old time.

crazy afro babyPlease notice Craig's ensemble. Yes, that is a clip on tie; and yes, that is a polo.
1st day of preshcool!
Chance's first soccer tourney. It was about 7 hours too long & 50 degrees too warm. Apparently I am not the greatest of soccer moms :)
Grandma & Daddy got to go on a field trip with Kenedi to the pumpkin patch!

Is she happy to be a monkey?

Some groovy family pics:

And thats all folks!

Spring & Summer 2011

Easter, gotta color some eggs.

Because I am so on top of things, these are the ONLY pictures I got of my kids in their Easter clothes...although Chance's are the same clothes he wears every other Sunday. Boys kinda get the shaft in the clothes department.

Hunting for eggs at the Naylor's house.
I turned 30. Please continue scrolling down.
Chance (in the gray) played T-Ball this summer. He had a great time. Kind of. When we could get him to go.
Kate Olivia Young was born (in May)! Look at that grunty face! I think she is way too cute...
In June the Barney family came to visit, so we went to Estes Park for some hiking.
The ladies.
Didn't I just say in JUNE? Actually the MIDDLE of JUNE, and yes that is snow behind them, and yes it did blizzard on us while we were "hiking."
The town of Mead had a fun little fishing derby. Kenedi's first fish!
??
Like I said not particular order. In July while in AZ BJ & Katherine blessed their cute little lady Kate. Here are the older cousins ooohing & ahhing over her & of course wanting to hold her :)
And we're back to the fishing derby. Chance's first fish!
And now back to the Barney visit. Kenedi & Saige had a great time making themselves "beautifuller" as Kenedi likes to say.
Back to the blessing (why does this dumb thing upload my pictures like this??? grrr) The happy little family.
Chance & Craig went camping for his birthday outing. They had a lovely time doing manly things.
Mom & Elder Young (at the baby blessing in July)
Chance's 7th Birthday!! (June)
Mom's Birthday (July)

Chance's Birthday
We cannot seem to get a decent picture but here's what we got. These were taken in Newport the end of July.

Birthday Cake, Yum.
While driving to AZ (July) the kids didn't like our choice of music so they all had to listen to their ipods.
Addy of course had to be in on the action.
Chance enjoying some time with the ladies. Addyson & Lexi (Brad & Alyssa's baby)
Nana & all the grandkids in Newport
While in AZ we had a killer party for Chance's birthday. Here is the couple where half of them can NOT make a normal face in a picture. Aren't they cute?

More birthday cake...no wonder her cheeks & thighs look like that.
We couldn't get Optimus to bust...
Daddy had to take matters into his own hands...
Candy mayhem!!
We spent a few days at the beach in Cali, Addy LOVED the sand.

Buddies

Legoland (don't waste you're $$)

Chance was a major wave jumper. He wants to live somewhere near the beach.
Kenedi preferred the sand & shells

Ferris wheel at Balboa Island
Balboa Island candy shop we go to every year. I have this exact same pic taken last year too.
Aren't they pretty with their matching pigtails?
Uncle Nick aka Elder Young came for a visit before he entered the MTC. We were SO GLAD to see him!!
SUPERMAN!! Swee snuggie huh?

It was really hard to let him leave.
Holy hair, what happened?
Kris & Brenna came too, we had a BLAST!

Next time she'll be a lot taller
Sniff sniff. I hate goodbyes.
So we attempted a garden this year, not much grew but the squash. If I could photo shop these 2 pics together that would be great. Apparently we can't all smile in the same picture. And we did find out that my children HATE squash. It's a good thing we've got it coming out our ears...anybody need some?

The first day of 2nd grade! Chance planted these sunflowers from seeds back at the end of May. They are nearly as tall as our house with no flowers! My kids think they are beanstalks...

Craig & some of his buddies did a Warrior Dash up at Copper mountain in August.
Craig jumping into the mud.
And jumping over fire...
Finished!!
Back to Newport (July) Every summer Grandpa Copple (Ken) has a different theme he dresses up as and hides from the kids every night somewhere around our hotel. They all go out looking for him & his goodies. This year he was MexiKen, hence the sumbreros. The first night they all got the headlights so that they would be able to find him easier the other nights. The LOVE this tradition. Grandpa is a good sport. He has been ChiKen (dressed as a chicken) AmeriKen (dressed all patriotic) and PumpKen (dressed as a pumpkin). So cute.
My Dad (Grandpa Young) came to visit for a few days & we went hiking around Estes Park. Here we are!!
Me & my honey.
More beach fun.
YUM.
And that's the end of my spiel.
